Buildings is officially starting a venue in downtown Santa Rosa, California.
The venue will be called (as of now), BUILDING A or 1.
We will have an art gallery as well as audio performances by local artists and visiting small bands.
Probably mostly experimental music, or rather
people willing to work outside the confines of traditional western musac (this is just me rambling).
Who knows.
Be on the look out cause it should be open for business in a month or so.

"The RNC Welcoming Committee, the organization from Minnesota that is planning some of the major protests for the Republican Convention, will be giving a short presentation on their strategy and ideas; then some local activists who went to the RNC in 2004 in New York will talk about their experiences; then we will also be hearing from all sorts of different local organizations about what kind of work they are involved in and how people can get involved."
The music should start around 8:00 p.m.

so, GITAR is playing two more shows this month. first, we are performing at
free mind media/king and spencer house. this show is for a quilt making party? i guess. i don't know. we plan on playing @ 5:00 or something. who knows when we will actually perform.
second, we are performing @ video droid again on thursday february 28th @ 7:00. both shows will have changes. we try and change the set everytime we play, which is a lot of work.
basically, we are awesome. egocentric??? yes, and proud of it.

GITAR @ Free Mind Media TONIGHT! free mind media is located at 546 pacific ave in santa rosa california. we are extremely grateful that the people at free mind are letting us play. they usually don't have live bands play in their space because it is a residential neighborhood. so, thank you free mind.

GITAR!!! is performing @ Free Mind Media Bookstore in Santa Rosa, California on Saturday, February 2nd @ 8:00 in the evening. There will also be art by i cut people, ellipse elkshow and mzzzzz leila anne. The Video Droid show was a success and we will probably be performing there the 3rd thursday of every month.

Oh god, We just can't stop. We've decided to start the long tedious process of uploading all our albums for free download. "His Name is Nibbles" is first in line. We plan on offering all our albums for free online. Soon we'll offer the album art as well. The art is always just as important to us as the sounds. Gitar is performing on july 21st at the boys club in santa rosa california. the boys club is located at 1677 4th st. across from grocery outlet. show starts at 8 costing $3 to get in. also playing are chores, litany for the whale, 'yvonne, and eucalypt.
